Designed by Cancer Care Ontario (CCO), My CancerIQ is a website that helps you understand your risk for cancer and what you can do to help lower that risk. Taking a My CancerIQ assessment can give you information to help protect yourself against cancer. As you work through the assessments, you’ll learn: – What factors help to keep your risk of cancer down – What factors increase your risk of developing cancer – What you can do to manage or reduce your risk, including links to helpful resources Where appropriate, you’ll learn whether you should be screened for particular types of cancer, such as colorectal, cervical and breast cancer. My CancerIQ won’t tell you whether you’ll get cancer or not, but it can help you focus on specific changes you can make to lower your cancer risk and live a healthier life. While it’s true you can’t change some risk factors like your age or family history, research has shown there are many things you can do to lower your risk. Talk to your doctor about your risk factors. At Canada Diagnostic, we can help with a Low-Dose CT scan for Lung Cancer Screening or a Virtual Colonoscopy for colon cancer screening.
